"I have been in your store a few times before and never was I ever approached by anyone with that "used car salesman" phony-ness or any sense of urgency to sell me something before I walked out the door. Dwayne was very patient with our questions, and though it was close to closing time, in no way made us feel as though he wouldn't stay and talk as long as we felt we needed. The entire experience was just wonderful, and it was great to nothave any pressure sales tactics. Everyone was sincere and honest about everything, and I just couldn't be happier right now! I hope that our business and personal friendship will continue for many years!"
-Jeff White
Dear Cathy,
We simply could not be happier with our purchase from Lacefield Music! (An upright Kawai) Two points stand out in particular:
1) Because of your commitment to us and your knowledge of the field, we got a better instrument - and at a better price - than we could have if we had tried to go it alone on Craigs List. Thank you for that!
2) I am almost allergic to "high pressure sales." But your primary interest all along was in sharing the joy of music - "making a sale" was secondary to that. Thank you for that, as well!
We look forward, sometime, to coming back to Lacefield for piano lessons. In the meantime, God bless you, and God bless Lacefield Music!
-Ed Hogan
Cathy~"Thank You" so much for your patience with us. Neither Gene or I had ever touched a piano before, much less played one! We couldn't read music at all~we only had the desire to learn to play the piano and you have given us that opportunity! While we still have a long way to go~you have taught us much in only 8 weeks. Even though we are still 'slow' players, we are enjoying it very much and having FUN with it. We look forward to our level 2 class. Again~~THANK YOU so much!
-Gene & Sandy Berville
"It is hard to put into words just how lucky we are to have a Lacefield Music in our community. I, like most people I meet at Lacefield, had the opportunity to learn to play the piano when I was young. But when you are in the seventh grade and learning FACE and Every Good Boy Does Fine, and Home on the Range, it isn't very exciting. Well, I can tell you that EXCITING is just what Lacefield has been to me. I went into the store and met Cathy Krubsack and told her my story and she sold me a Roland piano for a super price. And explained the free lessons, but I could tell that the open friendly atmosphere would be more than adequate. I can play for hours now and am amazed at what progress I have made. Everyone has been great, but I want to give a special thanks to Cathy, Howard and Jeff for their lessons and friendship. I wasn't sur what I would do when I retired, now I know, play the piano and have fun."
-Jim Clark
"Your Music lessons have been a great delight. [They] have been a source of learning, and great joy. I look forward to each class and all the social events!"
-Connie Dorsey
"Our first experience with Lacefield Music took place just before Christmas. It was such a positive experience [and] we couldn't believe our salesperson was real... I always wanted to learn to play so I was attracted to the beautiful instruments. We were greeted by one of the warmest, and most sincerely friendly salespeople that I have ever met, Cathy Krubsack. Cathy discussed the instruments with obvious knowledge, and played them beautifully as well, all the while claiming that she was just a hobbyist. She claimed that I too could learn to play in [a] short time. I thought she was crazy; nice, but crazy. Cathy said, buy the piano, and you'll get free classes for life. And guess what - she wasn't lying. In fact, she lied about nothing; she didn't fudge the cost, or the financing; there was no puffing or exaggeration of any kind. Everything she said Lacefield Music would do, is exactly what they did do. Our piano was delivered the way we requested, it was assembled in the place we wanted it; the piano tuner showed up as scheduled, and the piano classes are wonderful. When you start the class, you are made welcome, and you quickly become acquainted with the other class members. The teachers get to know the class, and you are always greeted when you arrive. Best of all, you learn to play the piano, and you learn enough theory [so you] begin to put things together on your own as well. There is a newsletter that comes out bi-monthly, and it keeps you informed of new classes and events. In short, when you buy a piano from Lacefield Music you become a part of the Lacefield community. At a time when most company's idea of customer service is an 800 number ending with voice mail, we found Lacefield Music to be an extraordinary exception."
- Robin Gosnell
"I, with no talent, and Clovis, with no interest, now have a whole new life. It was so hard for us to find things to do that we both had interest in and were both able to do. Our new life with the organ classes, friends, parties and trips, provides it all. In our own ways, we now make music – and what a joy it is."
- Prue & Clovis Cleghorn
"I am delighted to have found Lacefield Music. On my first visit to your store, I immediately felt an ambiance of warmth which reflects the quality of owner and employees just as a home reflects its occupants. My family will be taking lessons from you and plan to be regular customers for many years. Your classes are fantastic, and the association with other students is exciting."
- Carolyn Kirby
"We've had a great experience with Lacefield Music, meeting many new friends and learning to play the organ. The trips are great, the parties are numerous and fun; the staff is very friendly and wonderful to their customers. All in all, it has been an experience we wouldn't trade. Thanks Lacefield Family of Music!
- Jim & Cathy Hercules
We just have to tell you how much we appreciate all of the time and patience that you have spent showing us all of the wonderful features of these fine instruments. The mahogany cabinet looks quite striking in our family room. And the sound! It is truly amazing We are extremely happy with our new piano and we owe it all to you. So, thank you again for such a job well done!
-Brian & Kathy Mackinnon
"A Dream Fulfilled...I Finally feel that I'm on my way to fulfilling one of my lifelong dreams... playing piano. From the constant encouragement and stimulating instruction of Cathy, the little jewels of piano playing wisdom shared by Jeff, all the way to the spontaneous jam session with Vincent... I have received everything needed for me to be successful in achieving my goal of one day playing piano not just for family and friends at home but also for my church family. Thanks to every staff member at Lacefield Music for creating an environment conducive to truly learning to play piano and making it fun."
